There will be a high surge sitting on the map for like 15mins. As soon as you get within 1/4 mile of the serge it will go down to single digit dollars. There was a $24 surge sitting in San Pedro for like 30 mins. I got there and just as I hovered over it it went down to $3.25....WTF. Some Uber butthole in their operations center is probably sitting there laughing while they do it! I wonder if that high surge price is still there on another driver screen while yours is at 3.25?
