Warning again to everyone that this is a very long read so do not continue unless you are patient and mature. I am very confident that any understanding person who never complains about anything will agree somewhat on what i've got to say.

I know that a lot of you are really good at doing this job and make a good living off of the ridesharing industry here in southern california, but i notice there are a lot of people who complain too much on here. In other words you have made it known that uber/lyft are the giant needles waiting to stick it in your vein to suck off all the good parts in your blood (plasma) and then leave your asss hanging out to dry with a nice big scar on the inside of your arm.

How many years can you keep going before you realize how nasty the scar looks on the inside of your arm from donating to uber? For me i am ok with working for uber/lyft for 5 bux an hour because i know it's just a temporary thing that i can do if i ever need 50 bux or more for grocery shopping.

I say that it's $5 an hour because after car payment, gas, insurance, cleaning fee, car washes, dead miles, and waiting in the car for a ping every single day, it amounts to $5 an hour. There's always going to be a lot of people in Los Angeles who are going to be willing to work for 5 bux an hour. Of course a lot of people end up quitting when they realize it's a $5 an hour job, but there's always going to be a new crop that are led to believe big money when for the most part it's not going to be there in the end for them.

Have any of you guys had the chance to hear the advertisements on the radio for uber drivers? I know for a lot of people who tend to complain everyday shake their heads every time they hear these advertisements but the truth of the matter is that Uber is agent smith from the matrix. The moment that we think we are Neo and kill off agent smith, there's going to be millions and millions of agent smith and then we finally get tired unless we accept that we are working for $5 an hour.

I would like to say that i realize there are a select few out there who know the system and can make a living working uber/lyft and i respect you a lot. I know that i can be the same as you but i have another job so i am kinda lazy about being really good at it. But still i find it very interesting to try and learn about uber/lyft on my own little by little. For example yesterday i could not believe how slow it was for me on lyft during the times that i worked. So then it made me download the uber partner app as well as the lyft app on my 2nd phone which is the original verizon iphone 3g (piece of shit phone). Sadly lyft app won't work, but the uber app does! So now i can have my lyft app open in my iphone 6s and on my iphone 4 3g i can have the uber app open. If i get a ping on uber the next time that i am driving, i can turn off the lyft app and then open my uber partner app on my 6s and then shut off my iphone 4, know what i mean? I know it's absolutely simple and stupid sounding but it's a 1% thing that can help me get better at this ridesharing business.

I don't take driving for uber/lyft very seriously at all because i have a regular job. From the looks of it i would say that the companies would not prefer you to treat it as a regular job because it is so easy to be deactivated unless you know the system but i really feel that this is a really great thing to do till you find something better. Or it's great to supplement what you already have. It's a really good thing to do in order to get to know the city and you might be able to meet some good people along the way too.

I must say that i enjoy the saturday and sunday where you can make over $200 a day after gas but in the end when you keep doing it, it's just basically $5 an hour, so you definitely need other sources of income.

What do you think about what i said here guys?
