There may not be one in Tampa -- not sure. I know there is one in Miami and Orlando, but not every city has one.

You can probably get whatever you need by txt with Uber Support...eventually. You may get an initial non-lingual response, but keep trying. If it's an advice question, you'll get much better response here than from Support.

During the PTC debates in Tampa, I received an e-mail from UBER'S Tampa General Manager, or some such title. However, I do not think he's physically local, likely is a virtual manager working out of San Francisco.

My craziest e-malis have been ones telling me to "stop by the office" to drop off something a rider left in my car. Took me a while to learn there is no office.

Wow there is an office in Orlando? That's news to me, now it's only 2 hours away instead of 4!

 

They do seem to hold weekly type face to face meetings at the Residence Inn by International Mall. I usually get a text about it. At one of those they said they're working on getting an office in Tampa and should happen soon.

 

Hmm, never gotten those texts. Guess working 30+ hours a week for Uber means I'm not a valuable enough wage slave to be invited.

 

Is Tampa Bay your home area? Or maybe you have to sign up for texts or something. I may have checked something when I signed up saying it was ok to send texts. They come through as SMS not messages from the app.

Tampa Bay is the area I signed up with as my home area but I do live just over the hillsborough county line in Manatee. I get all the texts about the lightning games and the barrage of texts about Halloween we got last month. I also get all the emails about the PTC requirements.

 

There is an uber office on Lois ave but I can't remember the address. Can someone help me?
