There's some helpful info here, but the most value I've found is drowning my sadness from rideshare in humor. And learning that I'm not the only one who encounters terrible situations while driving passengers around 🤣
Maybe one of the best lessons I've learned is to deescalate bad situations. Soooooo many drivers on here that post threads like "Deactivated unfairly" or "Deactivated and not my fault" only to find (after several posts where the truth finally comes out) that they did something super stupid like hit on a female pax, rejected someone with a service animal, got angry or told off a pax, or started (or engaged) in a religious or political discussion with some far-right wing nut job or far left wing snowflake that had super strong views and didn't agree with the driver, etc. Learning what not to do is important. Although in many of those situations, it was clear that the driver that got screwed had very little social awareness to begin with.
