lyft deactivated me due to cancellations. been emailing them every day to get reinstated but they said no. sucks... i can still do uber but it's nice having both apps at the same time... my other option is to sign up with amazon.

As long as you have been on these boards I am surprised that you did not know better than to accept trips then cancel.

Our own Jo3030 has managed to get re-instated to Gryft after de-activation. I suspect that he might be able to give you some hints. He did mention something about repeated e-Mails and showing up at the offices.

Check with VIA, as well. Our own koyotemohn knows VIA well.

Sorry to learn that you were given the axe.

was juggling both apps at the same time and got a bit reckless with my cancellations. I'll stop in through arlington tomorrow for their hub.
Good luck. If they let you back on don't cancel if you accidentally accept a ping. Just don't move to them and they'll pawn it off to another driver, possibly in the bar too. We saw this demonstrated firsthand yesterday at the Meetup.

thanks for the tip. I'll probably end up making more with just uber, haven't been getting any bonuses lately due to running both and not driving as much.

I've been almost exclusively Uber the last few weeks. I accepted the new TOS last night and did a Shuffle as a "miss me?" to Lyft

Drivers have been deactivated for not moving toward pax.

If he's able to get himself reinstated, he'll have to be real careful about cancellations and not moving toward pax.

I got deactivated before but not for cancelation. It was due to switching licenses from md to va where all my va record popped up. I tried with them after even though it’s been more than 3 years since the last traffic ticket I got, but they were so stubborn and didn’t reactivate me untill this past February where I sent them an email and they reacrivated me again, but only to tell me my 07 vehicle doesn’t qualify for their platform anymore. So screw them. I don’t have any plans to change my vehicles yet especially since I barely did any rides for them in the first place. Maybe by next I’ll get a newer car. But as for now my car drives great and maintaince, repairs, and parts are cheap. Just try again with them eveey three months or so on and the time when you send them an email and expect them to turn you down, would be the day they will reactivate you.
Oh and their green hub is pointless. I went there and one of the employees had me sending an email from my phone to their online support.. so the trip to their office was a waste of gas to me.

I came back from dead from Lyft
I promised to be a good boy and they reinstated me (after emailing them repeatedly and creating new tickets for each email over like a week)
Anyways, if u get lucky enough to get reinstated, don't cancel ever, Like EVER.
Find ways to NOT cancel
I have been good and not cancelled and still on so far

Oh man, I've been cancelling a bunch on Lyft lately. Mainly because I am heading to work and the pickups were behind me. I'm not driving backwards to pick someone up, and then get back into the same traffic from whence I just did.

Was reactivated in February 2017 after I e-mailed them after deactivated for cancellations. Had only three weeks of service. Never called to find out destination, though.

Went into their office the next day and was told "already reinstated, final warning."

I continued to cancel but rarely, and wasn't deactivated.

Drive Uber now 99% of the time.
