FYI, the owners and the other tenants of the building that the Uber Greenlight Hub occupies, are at war with Uber. They have stripped the parking lot and repainted it with "NO UBER PARKING." There are only 4 stalls for Uber parking. Any driver who parks his car in any stall or any other place other than those 4 stalls, will NOT be ticketed..
YOU WILL BE TOWED... within minutes. The other tenants of the building are so anti-Uber, that they are watching every car that comes into the lot, and they have a nearby towing company on speed dial.
Apparently....these lovely SOB's, met with Uber before hand, knew what kind of company Uber was, and still agreed to let them lease a section of the building. Now......don't know what happened, but if you are a driver, you will get the nastiest snarl from the tenants of the other businesses if you happen to make eye contact. I didn't ask, but I'm not sure if the shared restroom is cut off from ants too.
If you have to go to the Greenlight Hub, this is your only parking option
That is until the residents of the street and the city complains about all the ants parking in the roadways, in front of the fire hydrant, and filling up all the stalls at the city park across the street, such as I saw today.
Greenlight Hub says they are moving to the Industrial District at the end of the year.
On a side note........why is it every time I go inside the Greenlight Hub it looks more and more like a DSHS office? Why do all the ants inside act like they got swag? I swear the next time I go inside I'm going to bring a case of deoderant and mouthwash and hand it out.
