This weekend is the slowest I've seen in Denver since I started 4 mos ago. Granted, there is NOTHING happening in the city this weekend, compared to the last several. However, even when nothing was going on before, bars were still consistent. Last night, no surge at bar goings (5-7pm) or closing (1-3am). It was a quiet Uber night. Lots of drivers.

Don't know if the onboarded more for Denver. Or if the dumb, it's about to start surging texts destroy all surges. Tonight we had about an hour of surge, which disappeared the minute they sent out that text that the night was getting busy, demand picking up, surge rates in effect. Quiet since then. Uber ****ers.

I got one fare during the 1.5 surge, it was 2 miles away, made 9 dollars instead of 6... wooo!

I didn't drive last weekend or this weekend due to a death in the family, but Friday night I did pull out my rider app and was AMAZED on how many drivers were saturating the UCF, Airport, shoot just about everywhere on the Orlando map. I even saw 2 cars driving towards Brevard County and 3-4 already in Brevard, out at the beach. I don't think I've ever seen this many drivers/cars on the map EVER! I don't know how any of you made any money. Haven't looked at the map tonight (Sat night), but I'm sure you all are driving on top of each other tonight too.
It doesn't take too long for drivers to realize that the only way they can make any money at all is in the longer airport runs.

Servicing drunks at 4 rides per hour for a net $9.60 an hour on non-surge fares is a looosers game. And that's only if you get non-stop pings.

Huge waste of time.

They literally sent a text that demand was picking up at midnight. You're ****ing sending out texts to people's personal phones at midnight. Go **** yourselves, Uber.

Three texts messages to get online because demand was heavy this weekend. All it did was destroy the surge. I'm wondering if uber is trying to tamper down surges on slower weekends so that they seem justified on the busy weekends when it can't be avoided. Trying to get more drivers on the road so people get cheap fares and quick pickups on a weekend for once.

Either way, even when there was NO SURGE last night, I got pings 8-10mins away and would click to the pax app and see MANY cars between me and that location. How is this happening during non-surge now?!

It's partly because of shit like below that Uber posts on many of the job boards. Every f'ing duche signs up hoping to become a millionaire. What bullshit. I'm tempted to tell Uber to stop the crap. Now way too many drivers not enough riders. I stay home and let the pings come to me rather than going out. It's a lot more comfortable on the couch in your own home then sitting in a car in the walmart parking lot praying for a ping.

Look Orlando is saturated with drivers yet they keep posting to CL for more drivers. I'm to the point I can't wait for the next City Counsel meeting. I'm working with city leaders to hopefully get a chance to talk. You know what Uber? **** you!
