Sent this email to Travis today. Requesting others to do the same:

Dear Travis,
I have experienced a lot of pain due to the DFW operations team not paying salaries and guarantees on time over the last 2 months. Other drivers have experienced the same issue.

This week, he introduced a rating system where only drivers with a 4.75 or better get the guaranteed amount. In fact, with so many trips under our belt, its hard to maintain a 4.75 even if 1 or 2 trips out of 20 will rate you a 1 by mistake. The math is all against the drivers. Almost all the surge trips will rate you lower when they setup the whole amount. Even 4-5 people rating 4 stars out of 15 will screw us up.

The good drivers are already pissed off. All that will remain will be the new bunch that will eventually quit.

I don't know where this asshole gets his ideas from, fire him. I have support from other Uber drivers. I will be happily joining Lyft if the 4.75 conditions are not removed with immediate effect.

I get exactly what the Dallas area manager is doing, and I applaud him for trying to keep the drivers with better ratings on the road. It's not that hard to maintain a 4.75 or better.

Look at the bright side, if there aren't enough 4.75 or higher drivers out, it's likely to cause surge pricing.

drivers with 4.75 rating often get offered a 12 hours weekend $50/hour guarantee. However, it s tied to many conditions

I got my guarantee. So either they ignored that rating, or I got a series of 5*
Now back to the DFW market ops manager bashing :)
My biggest complaints are the ridiculous cheap rates here, uber handeling of new license rules, and the insurance situation

Current rating is 4.87, 5 for the past 30 days and entire month of March. Driving 535 , 2011 vehicle. I've never got the $50/ hour guarantee. In fact, last weekend I got the $20 and $30. I've been doing Uber since last December. The only thing that might disqualify me I drive few trips a week or sometimes non.
The only common variable amongst those receiving the $50/hr offer appears to be the age of the vehicle. 2013 or newer.

@All, I am a 4.89 overall with 1300+ trips, with 4.68 over the last week. Messed up my guarantees during the promotional period. We need to maintain 4.75 overall during the promotional period only, which is just not in our control.

The rating can be manipulated from the Uber side too, for not paying us guarantees. I will set the conspiracy theories aside for now! I need your support to get this guy out of Uber so that we don't have any payment related complaints, or any other guarantee issues. Just draft a similar email to Travis if you feel like your payments/guarantees have been messed up over the last 2 months.

Staying offline will make more money. Wait for surge to happen.Every driver in DFW has to do this. If you follow guarantee its a win win for pax and loss for driver. Why don't all driver understand this. Uber tells the guarantee like, an advertising "make $900 this week" and all the driver follows that. Well if you put a logic, basically driver can make more then that. I just don't follow that guarantee, coz of other driver I have been compelled to follow those guarantee. Every time I stay offline in Dallas thinking surge will happen but never happens coz of smart ass gurantee followers and lastly don't have a choice and have to follow. So DFW driver from now dont follow.
