You talking rubbish. I don't come here to study. I come here to drive 12 hours and make money. Now I meet Jessica and she promised me she will sponsor me soon if I take care of her food, cigarettes.

Base or no base... I need $2500 every week in my account. That's $10,000 in one month. $1000 for car rental, $1000 for fuel and tolls, $1000 for GST..... remaining is mine and Jessica money to enjoy. Ask L5S
I like this guy living the dream  Reminds me of myself slogging away driving trucks 12 hours days and working 14 really since it not all just "driving" Max hours per day. Good money just hard slog.

He doesn't complain about the low pay or hours he got to do to meet end of each month. Admire his work ethic because most people got zero work ethics just looking for a free handout :D This is why Australia is built on the backs of immigrants.

Because if it was built on our backs... We all be in trouble right now

All Australians can legally sponsor 2 people as long as they got the $$ and the person they are sponsoring passes all the security checks and screenings by immigration is among the toughest in the world. Sponsorship pathway put the liabilities if anything goes wrong onto the person that sponsoring the person to be here so make it easier to put up stakes.

Hot weather at the beach and no ants. Lol
No hot babes.

And like he said, he has to feed the very large hungry Jessica, so she can sponsor him.;)

It a small price to pay... Sponsorship signatures usually go for about 15 000 - 20 000 dollars from an Australians that just signature no legal cost included cash in hand. Why so high? You only can sponsor 2 in ur lifetime and it gone forever.

He got it all figured out! Indians i reckon charges 20k plus. 50 bucks on food/smokes a day good return and interest free. Most guys that goes into a marriage or even relationship spend double that daily and lose half the house :D You can see Randeep has done his math.

Let's hope that down the track, Randeep does the honourable thing, and marry the big mama.;):eek:

He has to keep Jessica happy regardless for 3 years or she can revoke her sponsorship and send him packing. I think that enough years if he choose to leave or stay. In those three years his basically her butler. She a smart lady as well.

I'm not an expert at sponsorship but know enough ;) was a bit of light reading over several days. A lot of legal hoops really. Big topic and if his going with a partner sponsorship which still works out as 3 years  1 year approval process ten grand in which case Randeep gets down on one knee gives an engagement ring get temporary PR for that year period and after approval 2 years committed relationship/marriage.

Anyways good luck :D Benefits of second option is Temp PR.

Not her butler, more like her Gamekeeper (read Lady Chatterley's Lover). Poor Randeep, his tongue will be in a sling (I hear that Jessica like to converse a lot). ;-)).

You joking low pay? Randeep is cleaning up from uber.. he posted figures on page before.. you think $7000/month is bad money???

Big hours for big $$$$$
Aussi working FIFO half year the year same pay. They don't pay for food cost on site on work either. The house they own have people living in it paying rent and they only need a small room with a bed.

When they are on break they are doing Uber. How an Aussi does Uber to get ahead :D Always ways to make more money for the hours. Saying goes work smarter not harder. I drive these guys to work on Uber/Ola every morning to the airport.

The guys that are not doing it are thinking about doing it. Renting one car between 3 of them and driving it in shifts all week round when they are on a 2 and 1 roster. Why are they interested in doing this right now? They are sick of spending all their money on their breaks :D If they are driving they are not spending.

Things are so good in the 21st century :( back in the 20th century would of been tin shed and given rice/beans.

Back to the topic = I think part of the reason is the new ants being prioritised. I finally had a half decent job just now but discovered that I was their second option as the first driver couldn't find them.
I know when I started there was a definite honeymoon period where earnings were high.

My earning improved and my hours got cut back through working the hours and spot from experience that were going to be "busy". Uber app give you high pings if you have 100% acceptance rating. But that a lot of 15-20 minute pings you have to chase for five bucks ;)

If you want more sent to you pings all you got to do is accept hundred percent of the trips. Priority goes to the base ants. They always get first pickings even if hundred Uber closer they'll pull up a base ant with 100% rating from ten minutes away :D

Why? Because he accepts all the pings. He get a bone thrown to him. You can get a lot of pings even if you maintain 90% acceptance plus.

I hope this is not the case. It's a self-perpetuating proposition. If you get crap pings because you accept less, you accept less because you get crap pings.

Try it out yourself and tell me it rubbish  because I did.

90% ping i was getting request all night. Now it closer to 70% since i don't like traveling out 15 minutes for 5 bucks it 5-10 minutes between pings.

I actually try it myself before posting. When it was 95% I was getting ping request 20-25 minutes out. Yes that basically covering the city length because no traffic :D And yes a thousand ants was closer to that rider. So why the hell did I have to cross the city for? Only explanation that came up was all the other drivers had 10% acceptance ratings :p

It makes sense Uber send out the first set of jobs it gets to the people that completes them  You have to really stop thinking like a dumb driver and think of it as a boss/supervisor. You going to send the jobs out to the boys that accepts the jobs and completes them over ones that cherry picks.
