Picked up a Brightline exec today.
He said ...Brightline include free Uber ride within 5 miles of any station.....?

I see $2.99 rides in my future.... NOT!

Do you need a ride to and from a Brightline station? Request a Brightline+ ride from Uber or hop on a complimentary shuttle......

So are you ready for this??

XL ride...... 5 adults and an 8 year old. 6 large bags and 2 small ones. My Sienna was filled to the max.. The rear door didn't close the first 2 times we tried to close it.
Had to rearrange the 3 row seats a bit.

I picked up an XL ride today who traveled on the train from Miami to the MCO Brightline station.

COMPLAINTS-
Trip took 3 hours 52 mins... ???? No reason was given for the time delay.
They said the train didn't seem to be going very fast.. It never hit 120 Mph for very long.

NO rideshare pickup at the Brightline station.
They were told (Brightline staff) to take the train to terminal B or A. Then call for the Uber using the uber app once they got to the baggage claim area.
They said it took them 31 mins to get to Terminal B. Time included waiting for space on the Terminal B train for their bags etc.

Why were they not told to walk over to Terminal C is beyond me.
Day 01 and it's FUBAR.

They were going to Port Canaveral to board the DIsney WIsh.
The rider explained that he spoke to Brightline staff who informed him there are no plans in the works to build a station at Port Canaveral.

He was pissed.
His travel agent told him the Brightline train stopped at Port Canaveral......

Well I guess it's rideshare till they figure all this shit out....

Day 01 and it's a huge mess.

The rider said they were given those instructions by BRIGHTLINE personnel.

Maybe MCO ? BRIGHTLINE management needs to decide the correct solution...

He did say there were NO SIGNAGE for rideshare.. (maybe the sign said Ground Transportation?). Like the map you posted..

I guess I'll park and explore it one day soon.
I'll play the Brightline train guests and see what I'm told.
