I got a call from Uber Support in the middle of a ride, and he talked me into signing up for the Uber Pro card. I didn't know anything about it, but I went along, so I could get back to driving. Now I'm the proud owner of a debit card, with an unrequested debt of $150.
My gas is already $.20 to $.30 less than the high rates in my area. And I have no need or interest in any of the other perks of the card. I knew it wouldn't be easy to get disentangled from this financial octopus. But, surely there is a way.
I clicked HELP in the Uber app, but the computer chat was no help at all. In the past I was able to contact a human agent. But now I can't find a way to chat or phone with a human mind. As a last resort, I'll try to get some help from the Card app. But a quick review shows no path to cancellation.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with a knowledgeable person at UBER?
