Go file q hit and run report. Your insurance won't care unless u file a claim. If u do file a claim, then it'll be registered as an accident. Go to collission Center and file a report, when they ask if you're going to claim, say no but that you wanted to report it. They will call the cabbie themselves.

Even though you should've called 911 when this happened and told them that a can just hit ur car and drove off

Call whoever licenses cabs in your city. There is probably someplace there to file a complaint.

That is unacceptable. Next time it could be worse.
It will be worse.
That one crossed the line.
He needs vacation.

Call the cab CO. Who's colors he is flying.
Ask them if they want to handle it,or should you.
Tell them the time and date.

drive for uber no worries, he didn't have to be driving for uber at that particular point in time

also cabbie can say anything, doesn't make it creditable

whats the damage and your deductible? might not be worth going via insurance if its less than 1000 (thats my personal deductible) some have 500

a claim on ur insurance will raise your rates most likely, plus he hit you, more likely that you rear-ended him

i had a similar situation in a work truck, and my boss wouldn't believe me that some ****** reveresed into me, they thought i was lying, and that i drove into him damage was minimal but i looked like a liar, shouldn't of even told them as it was so minor, but it was my first time in an accident and i freaked out

I would call 911 or go to police.. this is hit and run. They have no proof that you are an Uber driver.

I am sick of seeing taxi break rules. I see it all the time. They speed around with utter disregard. Police don't stop them. They don't signal half the time when changing lanes. I am sure there may be a few good taxi drivers but the majority are really ruining their credit

Cleat cut case of hit and run. You have his plate. Phone the police and report it. You are not obliged to disclose what you do with your car. You are scott free of these questions is there was no PAX in your vehicle.

If it's reported to the police, expect the taxi insurance company to contact you very quickly to offer a settlement.
