Had to Pick up a private client in Irvine yesterday at 5am. On way down to Irvine I turned the uber app on to see what they were offering. Between 4am and 5am I had one ride request after the other come in, and most were complete and utter sht. Uber, I am not getting up at 5am to do a $40 ride from Lake Forest to LAX (almost 60 miles) with a 18 minute pickup. Bahahahaha
Uber, you may have enough stupid people driving for you at 1pm on a Tuesday, but you sure as hell don't in the early morning hours. AND when you go to LAX at that time, you are not getting a ride out of there either because arrivals is dead. So you are going to have to dead mile out or start doing those money losing rides. Bahahaha
This is exactly why its so easy to get PRIVATE rides. One of the offers was $65 from Irvine to San Diego Airport at 4:30am, which was 88 miles. Bahahahaha Had I not had a private client I would have gone over to pax and made a deal to do the ride off app for $180-220 and just cancelled (not enough luggage space)... I got this ride request THREE times, so I know no one was willing to do that horrible ride. In fact, I got three or four of the ride request to lax multiple times.
I have been told by dozens and dozens of pax in TO and Irvine that if they don't get a ride to lax by a certain time, they drive and park at LAX. I feel sorry for the pax at the hotels though, I know some of them are missing their flights. This is what happens when you offer the fares you are offering. No one gets up at those hours for sht pay. Had I not had a private ride, there was only ONE ride (scheduled) that I would have done. And that was $69 from LN to LAX.
