I have been back at this a couple months, and my 4.95 rating with a few 4* 3* and a couple 1* has not changed in that time. It used to fluctuate, as low ratings fell off, and new ratings replaced them. I was usually in the 4.95-4.99 range.

I've been driving in the hood, and I know that makes you susceptible for random down rates. I think that maybe Uber has locked ratings in place, or perhaps not allowed pax who have a history of downrating to affect your rating.

It could also be in affect during the re-introduction period as not to discourage returning drivers. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, my rating has been frozen at 5.00 for a while.

Yes I understand. But putting on around 250 trips over past couple months would have expected a change. Especially with the heavy ghetto driving.
Not really, such a small percentage of people rate these days that it takes a while for crap to drop off. I probably average 40 rides a week. Had a bad patch where I got 3 1 stars in rapid succession almost TWO years ago. The 1's just dropped off 1 and 2 weeks ago. Sloppy math but I probably did 2000 trips to get 500 ratings.

Negative ratings against the driver should require a lengthy explanation of the problem.

Then an AI alogrithm looks for key words like "didn't pick me up drunk at bar" then analyze the time of request like 3 am, then see that the driver already logged 18 hours on the app and was at home sleeping. Then a boot shoots out of the bottom of their phone and kicks them in the groin. 😆

One star rating, DENIED! 😁

I’d been guilty of some hood anting recently too. Summer’s slow you know. I know you guys love 2* ratings, well I managed to accrue a couple during my more cracked out rides and have been stuck with them ever since. My rating hasn’t budged in a while either. Counter to most drivers when I actually want them to go back up I work the club kids and finance bros at the college late nights and they actually thank me for vibing with them and relay stories of how other drivers lowered their expectations and didn’t show them a good time. I finished out the summer on reservations and got a lot of $20 tips recently for those. Can’t wait for my college punks to return.
