I am paying $840 for home and car insurance broken down as follows:

house $ 149.50
mazda 3 $ 381.42 - One at fault accident in 2017
honda CRV $ 310.00- one speeding ticket in 2016
TOTAL $ 840.92
4 adults in the household all with G licences

Any insurance brokers out there
when i got 2 speeding tickets in a single month (mind u, one of them was 45kmh over posted limit), my premium double from 150 to 300 monthly, but now its back to normal at around $100 monthly ( 2 years and a half later with clean record)
itll probably go down considerably next time youre up for renewal on the policy

I think there is a savings if you don't have collision. That means that if you cause the accident the insurance company doesn't cover the damage to your car. In my case my Prius is worth $13,000 so I take the chance. I've never had an at-fault so I think it is a safe risk. I'm not sure how much I save but I'm sure that over the years I have saved at least the cost of a car. Everybody has a different situation with this. Not having collision has worked out for me.

If you do Uber..
You need the premium insurance..
Because you are at risk of an accident every day..
Since I have been Ubering..
Guess how many idiots I met on the road..
How many people I witness passing the red light..
Causing nearly a deathly accidents..
The old lady that stop suddenly 3 car away from the stop line.. no car in front of her.
The taxi cab that turned left from the 3rd lane from the right.. yeah..

Is it normal for my insurance to go up by 100$ per year. This is before I told them about uber. I've got a clean record and no accidents and no claims yet my insurance went up by 100$ per year.
Any increase is a rip off. The insurance companies are milking that mandatory insurance req'ment for everything its worth. And the previous stupid Liberals that a lot of people voted for, said they would reduce the rates, but instead have reduced the coverage! As the former premier stated quite glibly: "Its a stretch goal". Glad she's gone now.:cool::cool::cool:
