This is just sad. With all the events going on yesterday 160 bucks is about what a driver could have expected to make. This is a Saturday in May during Cinco De Mayo weekend with a big fight in town!

On the bright side one no longer need feel guilty for not driving on a Saturday. In the past you would have had driver's remorse knowing you passed up earning 300 dollars minimum. Not anymore. A Saturday is no different than a Tuesday here. A Tuesday is actually better cause you get to your pickups a lot faster.

I saw something new on my app yesterday. Earn extra points towards Uber Schmo during busy hours? So is Uber now trying to pay us in extra points instead of surge during peak business? How many idiots are going to fall for this? I'm afraid in one of the most financially illiterate countries in the world like the U.S. the answer is hundred of thousands?

Not bad hourly. Better surges last night were after midnight-5am. I broke $300 working until almost 5am. Got my first ping after 6:30 and took a full hour break around 12:30

Once the fight ended and supercross it was pretty consistent surge until about 12:30. Then no surge until about 2am and consistent until 5am from what I could see.
