Dealing with a “top tipper rider” who doesn’t tip

First of all, I do a screen capture of each ping I accept, in case Uber shorts me on pay. I keep an eye on the “top tipper riders” and if they tip $1.00 or nothing at all, I probably don’t want to see them again. How do I accomplish that?

I select the ride from the earnings activity in my weekly summary. Then I tap the “?” in the upper right corner. Then tap on “My rider was rude” and “Negative feedback.” Check the box for “Rider was acting suspiciously” and tap “Next.” Slide the “Block pairing” button to the right and select “1 star.” Tap “Next” and the process is complete!

This procedure can also be used for cancels and no-shows.

I always send a message I want confirmation I wont be matched again if no tip on uber within 24 hours on lyft 1 star, a non tipper will never get a ride from me twice

we already know "top tipper" on uber means the rider tipped least $1 once, its all psy ops to defraud, manipulate, trick, deceive labor..... so far so good but 1st non tipper top tipper they get added to my ignore list

with he fares theyre showing now it dont mater a +$18 surge pays $65 no surge $65 lmao they just charging whatever they want taking whatever they want

lyfts "pick up included" is 100% fraud do you really think drivers wont notice a ride 1 minute away that pays $60 for the trip, then another request same destination 15 miles away is 49-60 why on earth would I take the trip who knows apparently these tric work on "adults" out here

uber surges +18 no uber requets but an xl ping every minute on lyft then, all 10+ miles away goin less than $2

all LOSERS drivers, riders just straight up local losers if not going to airport

buy a car LOSERS no ones coming to get you, youre spending hours everyday just to get down the street, for years, months, weeks, same LOSERS same time same ride ignored their requests hundreds of time now I know the details and it more hilarious cant unmatch without accepting though every morning thinkg a driver 3 minues away but nope 30 minutes later same request you coulda walked by now idiot, extendedt stay to the walmart, motel 6 to the taco bell

LOSERS
do you not know anyone who needs gas money LOSERS?

eventually theyll all be op tippers just like drop offs are now always in busy arears and youre always in a busy area but no pings for hours, hey its surging over there hurry up go online.... all fraud

+1. First time I've ever seen a way to down-rate the rider, and optionally permanently uncouple, after the fact. Very helpful.

Personally I would be hesitant to use the feature for an Uber implied tip that did not materialize, 1) because I just assume Uber is lying, and 2) I may have done something to put the kybosh on the tip, and would pick up the rider again regardless.

I just tried this on my Uber Eats deliveries that didn't tip, and it appears to work. It's weird blocking a UE customer for "rider was acting suspiciously" but the app allows it. I guess sooner or later Uber will notice that UE drivers like myself are using this feature to block delivery customers who don't tip and turn it off for UE trips. But, so far they haven't. Tipping on UE deliveries is much more important than rides, because a UE delivery typically only pays about $3 before the tip.

This site is so entertaining sometimes even better than a movie are a good sitcom, one of the biggest complaints on this site is passengers doing false allegations, but now here's a thread promoting false allegations against passengers.

A DoorDash driver just announced on my local NextDoor forum that he is going to block all customers who don't tip him on a delivery. Seems like there is a movement among food delivery gig drivers to do this. Eventually, however, Uber, DoorDash, and GrubHub are going to notice what's going on and try to do something about it. Still, I support doing it. You can't make any money on food delivery if the customers don't tip.
