A couple of months back myself and a few others on here were trying to find Aussie towns with a Latin name. Well, I've found one definite and one partial.
1. Augusta WA, near Margaret River.
2. Port Augusta SA.
Just putting it out there for a bit of fun.

As mentioned last time:

(1) Nullarbor Plain (= no tree)

(2) Roma, Queensland

(3) Nil Desperandum, ACT
I think we discounted the Nullarbor as it was a region and Roma was named after a local person with that surname. Perhaps I'm being a little pedantic 🤔😁. Had no idea there was a place called Nil Desperandum but I love it.

True but not a town 😊.
Victoria is Latin

Capella: small town in Queensland named after the star 'Capella': Latin for 'little goat'
We're on a roll now, there's probably a few more out there too.

Boronia, suburb of Melbourne.

Actually, just realised that Nullarbor is the name of a settlement on the Eyre Hwy in SA. It's just a roadhouse really but it is a settlement so it definitely counts.

Yes, Victoria isn't a town but Mount Victoria is a township in the Blue Mountains with a population of a little over 800.
Got to give that one a partial just like I did with Port Augusta.

Vincentia, coastal town in the Shoalhaven area.
