So recently you Lyft guys have been having fun comparing long pings that get oh so ridiculous with Lyft. I figured us Uber only guys shouldn't be left out of all the fun. Instead of picking on Lyft's quirkiness, this competition will pick on our pax's laziness. Who has driven a pax the absolute shortest distance in WNY?

Rules:
1) Has to have been a completed trip not a cancellation. Ex: my trip to the airport Fairfeild inn from the Airport pickup (maybe 100 yards) doesn't count because we didn't change their destination from RIT and I took the cancellation fee.
2) Has to be a full trip can't try to split legs of a multiple stop trip into separate fares
3) (or 2b) rider has to be at their preferred destination. If driver or pax accidentally or intentionally end the trip early and the pax is forced to order another ride it doesn't count.

Ok let's have some fun. Until this past weekend my best was 4 blocks down Park ave, exactly .5 miles. My current best is .38 miles from Culver to the Revellry on University Ave.

Anyone come in under that yet? Anyone close? Someone's got to be a lot of lazy people out there.

Shortest I've had is I believe it was .67 miles. I drove about 7-8 min for the pickup, the fat goof made me wait several minutes before getting into the car, then I dropped him off and got no tip. He also disagreed with me on a benign point during idle conversation. I was too nice back then. Nowadays I would have deducted him. On a beautiful--I mean just beautiful--summer night if you are too lazy to walk your ass 2/3rd of a mile in Fairport, NY, which is all side-walked and the last time anybody was a victim of a violent crime there was half a century ago, you deserve to be punished for it.

I live just over a mile from N Main street and we routinely walk to the village and back in the summer. Even walk as far as Perinton Park, over 2 miles each way (by the canal path not by street). If you can't walk home in Fairport in the summer you're just plain lazy.

LOL! .01 miles for a penny. Wait, how did you actually end that trip?
So I picked them up from a concert in the new era uber lot. I started the trip once they got in. We slowly crept up while waiting for them to let us out of the lot. While they were in my car some one called them and offered them a ride. So he said sorry, and they got out. I ended the ride. He then tipped me also.

I was back online and got another ride out a few minutes later.

I don't know... Not sure that is in line with rule 3. The trip did end early but then again not because anything went wrong. The pax did happily exit there but it was not their intended destination. Not sure how I feel about that but either way it's impressive that you made $12 on that. Congrats dude!

I hereby second Rule #3 and declare myself the front runner again #Merc2018. :)

Note to self, the ride was too short to end. It took me 3x to actually swipe end the ride. LOL.

This was from the Curtis Hotel valet parking area to the Westin Hotel on Chippewa and Delaware :)
