That's BS. Was it a core based guarantee, and were you hanging out in it? If so, you were online in a defined area of demand. It's not your job to find the highest area of demand within that area. Even if you weren't in the core, you weren't told where you had to be online, just where to take those rides. Moot point now, but anyone should fight it should it come up again
This was well over a year ago, there was no La core requirement at the time of that incentive..
 
Hiding out is when you reach your hourly ride requirement early and avoid pings by staying online in a low demand area. Some drivers with select accounts just switch over and get fewer pings this way. Still don't know why it's considered fraud.
It's not fraud, like, at all. There must have been something else going on there, other than hanging out in low-demand area. How is the driver expected to know where pings will come from? As long as you work within their geographical requirements, you're good. If Uber doesn't want you to be somewhere, they need to come right out and say it.
 
What exactly happened since this is the 1st time I heard something like this? Something must have triggered a red flag since many drivers on this forum do it all the time.
