What do you guys make of this? Do you have to have those number of peak hour trips to qualify? Or is it an "either or" thing? Like 30 trips OR 10 peak hour trips for $50?
Let us know how it goes.Well I literally work next to Vermont, guess I'll take a walk over and ask in person. I got the same email with peak times added.

Leave it to Uber to be vague. The small print terms on both the peak hour email and the non-peak hour email are identical.I got the peak hours text. Emailed support asking for clarification. The text makes it seem like an either/or stipulation ("
New this week, we've added Peak Hour Times to help you reach milestones faster by taking trips during high demand times") but I find that idea hard to believe.

Mine too. Uber knows I don't do all the guarantees every week.My email doesn't show the peak time requirement?

Mine is a '15I'm curious, what year is your vehicle? I also got this email. A few things here, my car is 2006 so I don't qualify for any hourly guarantees, for that reason and personal preference I avoid SF rush hours for the most part though I'm occasionally driving by 6pm. I do however drive late on Friday and Saturday is usually a long drive day for me and I'll often keep driving until 4am so I do often drive during the guarantee hours on the weekend. I was thinking about stopping by the Oakland office closer to my house today to ask about how this incentive will actually work, as I usually shoot for 100 rides/350 bucks incentive, but I have a hunch this restructuring could land me in the 500 buck category given the peak hours I drive on weekends.

This is going to get so confusing now. Hopefully it's good, but it's UBER so... I usually just shoot for 101-103 rides and collect my incentive 350.Mine is a '15
I've been saying this for months, lyft is ubers r&d team. Countless times an innovation from lyft has ended up on uber. Just a few:I can't believe they did this... Does Uber do anything Lyft doesn't do first??!
Looks like a lot of people will be switching back to Lyft.
Mine dont show destinations on pool...where is that at?I've been saying this for months, lyft is ubers r&d team. Countless times an innovation from lyft has ended up on uber. Just a few:
1) 2 minute countdown on pool
2) destination filter
3) automatically adding rides to pool
4) power driver bonus
5) power driver plus
6) power driver plus w/peak hours
7) sign off after last ride/stop requesting new rides
8) showing destination on pools
9) scheduling a ride in advance
10) although uberBlack was first, lyft made it possible for non tcp drivers to transport passengers (legalities aside). UberX did not come out until a year later
11) lyftline was introduced a month before uberpool
Too bad they still won't offer tipping. But I've wondered how credit card processing fees play a role in this.
Click the clipboard in the upper left, you won't know until you pick them up tho, but it's nice to have a clue where everyone is going.Mine dont show destinations on pool...where is that at?
Whats the difference then....Click the clipboard in the upper left, you won't know until you pick them up tho, but it's nice to have a clue where everyone is going.
Previously on pool, you were only privy to the next pax getting dropped off, not the destination of #2 and #3Whats the difference then....
I thought it be like on lyft...you know wheb you accept
Barely any improvement.Previously on pool, you were only privy to the next pax getting dropped off, not the destination of #2 and #3
Most of that is obvious. Nobody is copying anybody, since a blind hermit who never left their cave would suggest it.I've been saying this for months, lyft is ubers r&d team. Countless times an innovation from lyft has ended up on uber. Just a few:

Show us an idea/promotion Uber invented! Most of that is obvious. Nobody is copying anybody, since a blind hermit who never left their cave would suggest it.
2) Uber had it first, at least in SF.
3) Yay, Lyft punishes first!
5) Are you mad? Power driver plus has been in place on Uber since March.
10) Actually Sidecar was first. Lyft copied Sidecar. Uber copied Sidecar
11) Ditto Sidecar. In fact, both Lyft and Uber rushed their copies into production, and screwed up, after Sidecar spent quite a bit doing it right.
