Am looking at the insurance cover including rideshare and have found that Bingle is quite cheaper as compared to NRMA and Allianz. Anyone has experience with Bingle. Your suggestions would be highly appreciated please. Thanks

Annoying company to deal with as they have basically no support channels except online.

Someone crashed into me once, made a claim and had to fork out excess which wasn’t refunded until almost a month later and plenty of chasing up. The repairer did an okay job, no complaints.

What you pay is what you get.

NRMA are the best by miles.
Choose your own repairer.
No need to do Rms driv g record reports.
Opt for unlimited kms driving, No need to show.
Loyalty discounts.
Any dramas with repairer NRMA kicks grass! & sorts everything with no headaches No stress. SMOOTH AS.

Not that I could access NRMA but would like to know if the unlimited kms is for rideshare.
Do you declare that the vehicle is for rideshare?

Eventually insured with NRMA. Declared that the vehicle is for ridesharing. They allow upto 80% use of the car for ridesharing

if someone crashed into why didn't you use their insurance company for the claim and if you did why did you have to pay the excess? o_O unless it was a hit and run.

Note the following statement on the Bingle website:

Does Bingle cover UberEats drivers? Or other food delivery companies?

Thomas

Unfortunately no, Bingle does not cover UberEats/other food delivery drivers. Bingle's Uber/Rideshare cover is ONLY for rideshare. It does not extend to food, parcel delivery, taxi's, couriers etc.

Reach out to the Insurance Council of Australia to find the cover that's right for you.
