I have that enabled, and yes I am hard of hearing. As you can see, my English is perfectly fine.

No, but it prevents the PAXholes from being able to call you (the rider app blocks calls and instructs them to text). Also, they tend to try not to small talk and if they do try I remind them that I'm disabled. Really handy for shutting up motormouths.
