I've actually done a few houses that have tile floors and a floor drain built into them.

Now I'm not saying this is exactly what they're being used for but what else do you use a floor drain in the middle of a bathroom for that does not have anything to do with the shower?

Dang the things people do. I’ve never guessed they’d put a drain there. At least it’s not in the kitchen.
