We got plenty of oil we just like to take it from middle East. What country wants to use up it's own resources 1st. Makes sense to dry up the middle East. Then they will turn to dust completely.

Its not that Iran has tons of oil, its the fact that a war in the Middle East will screw up the entire persian gulf. If we go to war with Iran, minimum $7 a gallon. Hell, gas prices in California went up .8 just because a couple of refineries were having issues.

Issues at CALIFORNIA refineries always drive up our prices because there are only 6 of them and they're the only ones that refine the CA blend required by law. If the whole country were using the same blend, we wouldn't be so much higher. (We'd still be higher because of taxes, but not nearly as much.) The rest of the country has enough refineries that if one goes offline, the impact is minimal. When output from any one of the CA refineries is even mildly impacted, the result is dramatic and immediate.
As much as a certain group or two of people in the US with power would love a war with Iran, it is never going to happen.

If we go to war with Iran, gas prices will be the last thing you'll have to worry about. Do you even know what war is and what it does to a country? There will be pieces of shits yelling Allah Akbar blowing people up. Nowhere will be safe, yet you're worrying about Uber driving. I cannot believe how small your world is.

Are you kidding? We've been at war since George Jr. was president. In that time, we've seen some terrorism, but most of it is kids and assholes shooting up schools (NRA-sponsored terrorism).
