Minimum wage here in San Diego is now $11.50/hour. Divide that by 60 minutes and multiply that by 4/3 since you only get 3/4 and you get:

$0.26 per minute

Lyft is paying $0.15/minute while you are driving. Or $6.75/hour.

Your downtime is free to them.

Contractors usually charge 50-100% MORE per hour to cover their downtime. That means in San Diego, they should be charging $0.39-$0.52/minute.

Ignore the mileage. In San Diego you are paid fairly for your miles. Just not your time.

Your post above is vague and does not make sense. Are you trying to figure out if the pay is fair if you are just sitting there with a pax assigned to you but you’re not moving anywhere? (like when they run into a grocery store)
