No surge on XL all night while everything else was blowing up?!?! Cost me a lot tonight. Uber says they are working on it. I didn't pick up a soul after 1am. My loss but damn if I didn't get 5 XL requests in a row when I turned on the app at 2am and canceled each one and went home. Not worth it.

Same here...no XL between 1 and 2 am, but I picked up 3 XL rides on 6th (7th) between 2 and 3 am, but with no surge surcharge. Sucks.

XL vehicles have to seat 6 people.
XL rarely surges except maybe during special events.
It's been pretty common that 1-2am are pretty dead as people finish up drinking and aren't moving around much.
Last time I worked that shift I had zero jobs and 6 cancels between 1-2am.
Surge after 2am is becoming less and less as more drivers flood the city.

XL should be literal too... Extra Large. This guy gets into the back of my car weighing circa 430+/- & approximately 5'7". Complains about how small the Select cars have been... lmao. I'm 6'1 and 180 and love how much rear leg room I've got.

**** it, why not. I had one of those and didn't but how else are they ever going to learn a lesson. If it happened again I would def contact support. In fact it's one of the options post ride right there in the Help button.
