Same thing here in Dallas. No surge. Very few select request. I think everyone left town for 4th of July.

Wa yyyyy to many drivers..
Everywhere I drop a pin I see a heard of cars x,xl,select it doesn't matter.
They almost have a car for every rider.
When it does surge it last for a very short time and never gets over 3x. UBER has it almost the way they want it. .they make all the money and the driver's work for peanuts.

Crazy what 2 months does. Didnt drive for 2 months and now so crowded with drivers. Slowest week in 2 yrs I have been driving with Uber by far.

I am not sure if anyone has acess to Uber's data on the subject, but I would expect that Dallas is a pretty huge market compared to most. It is where I would go if I was for some outrageous reason willing to leave Austin to pursue a career in....Uber? That's not a sound idea anyway.

Agreed, last week was a fluke....... busy as hell. This week, back to sucking. I also noticed nearly every car I pulled up next to, had a rideshare app running. Still managed to hit my target of 250.00 for the two days, but it was tough. Did do quite well on tips though.
