If you think that's bad, my dumbass took this last night. I never saw to "long trip" or even the miles. Or perhaps I was just too tired, who knows? Tons of pings on way back, but for some reason wouldn't let me accept. Manager at FedEx, going to pick up a truck. Without the tip would been awful, she tipped me what she said was the max on their spend account for the fair. Who knows

The stupid thing is it would be nice if they just friggin showed us where the trip is going. They show everyone the pickup address why can't they just show the drop off when we accept. I don't know why they need to hide the address regardless of what level we have unlocked. I'm only just pro so I can only see the time and direction. I've had to decline lots of shorties.

I've cancelled trips like that and kicked the passenger out. I hate surprises like that. I got surprised by a 10 hour trip once. The lady was loading her luggage when I told her never mind.

With drivers canceling on customers, you don’t think this has an adverse effect on the platform and customer loss and price is having to be drop to keep riders, if Uber showed the prices and distance before they’ll be people not picking up customers in cherry picking so if I was going a short distance I may not get picked up at all, the low prices are not Uber doing it the independent contractors who are failing the customers, but sometimes you do have to lower your prices during certain periods of time to get your ridership up to keep you guys working, if Uber doesn’t go back to the old way of business, they won’t be in business long dealing with independent contractors, who don’t know how to run a business.

I get a heap of em where I am in Oz. And it really erks me. Especially when the pax start whining about ppl not wanting to pick them up or cancelling. I just let them know why and tell them to provide some feedback to uber. I just don't pick up anything more than 10mins out of my way now. Let the acceptance rate drop. My cancellation rate is high too. Doesn't seem to make a difference income wise for me.
