the black cab man writting this article is clearly worried for his future. Maybe some of the fine black cab drivers of this forum should give him some reassurance! He is probably having sleepless nights. Poor guy

Not strictly accurate. A sad case is one who continues to work for a company who they know without any shadow of a doubt, is ripping them off, paying them 1980 prices, and paying them below the minimum wage, but who hasn't got the intelligence or willpower to do something about it.

Earlier I mentioed that my bro sold his car and after 11 yrs is done with ph.
Now he did class 2 and driving for one of the companies.
Gent in late 50's, his cab mate is...was a bc for 15 yrs and gave up.
Reasons:
Not enough jobs
Uber
Road works
Traffic congestion
Mental pressure
Drunks and junkies during eves
Now they're both better off working Mon-Fri 6am-4pm and having Sat-Sun off.
Money, 1/3 less. Quality of life, 100% better.
So voodo, it's not all sweet as nut.

No its not Cabbie2b 100% agree but that post was pathetic wanting an industry to fail ..why? because it was everything driving for UBER isnt/wasnt

Fair comment mate. But u know well that always will be someone somewhere to poke u a bit.
My only wish is for Uber and Travis to fail big time and eff1n regret helping them few yrs back to grow their empire.

Bc should rightly be worried because they thought kol was death proof. "World famous" premium rate service is not particularly to blame, the true fault lies directly at these really despicable drivers. I dont know how in this day & age such lowlife anti social psychos still exist in London, with such a large presence...it baffles me. Its taken a global corporate giant to make them look in the mirror, I say let them get squeezed to the bones...let them crawl back to "english only" territory as they are a total misfit here. As for the regular bc jokers replying here, give it up! You might consume all that I write but I dont read your tit for tat nonsense. Just start thinking of ways to scrap or trade that ugly looking thing, then do a hatton garden or something lol...you bunch of shameless stupid criminals.
