If anyone here has taken those trips lately does Uber take less of the money or still trying to wipeout 45%? Got a couple pings lately for the unicorn trips. I almost took a Vegas 1 tonight after midnight but decided not to. Maybe if it was a few hours earlier and my accounts weren't running on empty I would of.
Showed up to $285 which means they probably pay around $600 if Uber takes 45%.
Wonder if Uber takes less of a fare cut for that long of a trip. Back in the 25-33% margin that should be $400-$450.
Probably would of cost $100 in gas. Never know what adventures or tips would of went on. Someone must of taken it eventually, unless they got stuck needing a bus or plane, or a willing taxi driver.
On the 4th of July someone was trying to go to Arizona in the 9pm fireworks time.
The Uber app will not show an estimate, some random taxifarefinder claims it's just $341-$427 of a fare which would make more sense.
Another site shows 60 miles shorter 216 LA to Vegas Uber X would be around $300. There's also a few years old rumor Uber would random end the trip past 100 miles.
