I drove these people to key Biscayne today. Hit last ride before I crossed the bridge.

No surge after I dropped them off. So I stayed offline.

Then $1 surge appeared. Ignored it. $2 surge. Same thing. Went to $4 so I decided to drive 1.5 miles to get it. About .5 miles away, it dropped to $1.50! So I stayed offline and parked across from the Ritz.

Went back to $4 so I went online while parked. Then it went to $13! In a matter of minutes.

Waited 20 minutes for a trip. In the meantime it dropped to $5.

Got a trip to Coral gables. I got $26 Uber got $4. I only got the $13 sticky.

this bs with surges has to stop. Uber gives you the sticky and then won't give you a ride until the surge disappears so they don't have to pay a multiplier.

this can't be profitable for them. Then again, no one has ever accused Dara of being able to turn a profit.

I got one of those for like $11 or $12 on KB once and didn't get a ride for over an hour. Last night I fell asleep with the app on, woke up to a $6.50 sticky...this means the area near me that surges most had to hit over $10. How did I not get a request at all during that time??

Waiting with a $10 surge for like a hour on key Biscayne. Went offline (by accident) then got mad at myself.. went back on line and 1 min later got a request for pick up from Starbucks going all the way across the street to the apts 🤦🏻‍♀️
