There are targets in place for staff to recruit "X" amount or estimated number of drivers per week to sign up.

The whole strategy is to make sure there are alot of drivers to get everyone to use Uber. Drivers are disposable,, especially when the end game is to transfer riders to new transport systems that will develop in the future.

Im also sure this $10k is a tax expense or future rate cuts will cover these "bonuses".

well uber claim to have 6000 driver last time i heard... so if u base it on 6000 by the base that 6000 on the min fare of 1$

that 6000 per hr at min

One Billion trips in 6 mths. If the average trip is $24 Uber's cut $6 = $12 billion/yr and virtually no tax payable as the claim is "we aren't making money" lol.

At this rate Kalanick should be the richest dude on the planet soon.
