Just got a text from uber sign up mates and go in the draw to win $10k

Plus each sign up also the normal $200 after trips.

Muat be running out of people lol

they waste so much $$$ on stunts & gimmicks trying to entice new drivers... this week its $10K & tomorrow its icecream deliveries...

I hope competition comes to Qld for rideshare soon, so want Uber to leave the state with their tail between their legs

The whole strategy is to make sure there are alot of drivers to get everyone to use Uber. Drivers are disposable,, especially when the end game is to transfer riders to new transport systems that will develop in the future.

Im also sure this $10k is a tax expense or future rate cuts will cover these "bonuses".

well uber claim to have 6000 driver last time i heard... so if u base it on 6000 by the base that 6000 on the min fare of 1$

that 6000 per hr at min

This week its tyres, restaurant voucher, petrol, cinema tickets & more !!!

When will the more be better rates ??? :( because that's all drivers want ...

Last year they offered a Nissan Altima didn't they?

10K sounds like they are cutting back on offers ;)

From memory it was only a new driver 3 weeks in from Fortitude Valley? This was before the recent rate cut, bets on whether he stills drives?

That would be interesting to find out ... bit like winning the lotto would you still buy tickets after you won the big prize :)
