We don't stick together!!!

Shore Jersey rates, Delaware rates higher??? Beaches???

Philadelphia, lots of attractions.

Until we refuse to drive For those rates, they will keep lowering those.

Yes you probably are right. You have convinced yourself that we can't do anything about this. So we just keep driving.

Drive driver drive.

Make a big sign for your passengers. Let them know you demand they pay more and give them some options for cash or card. Sounds like Philly is so affluent no one will mind.

Truthfully, I have not been driving. See I know how to stick to something.

But you obviously missed the entire point. It takes more then one to stick "together".

What can we do?

Signs may be good... But signs asking for more money from pax may not be useful

Supply and demand.. is one issue. Philly market is over saturated.

Drivers - Eliminate pool and line... By stopping all rides it going off line if
you take one.

Ever since the philly changes and getting accepted for Lyft, I've not driven for Uber. They are shit.

I do however, log in so they can see in using Lyft. Like showing up to a bar your ex works at with your new gf.

Yeah, great idea! Then, when the pax calls the Police and you are arrested for attempted extortion, at least you won't have to worry about leaving your car parked on the street because in PA, illegally soliciting cash fares in an unlicensed taxi not only gets you arrested, but your car is impounded as well.

What a friggin' stunad.

I think you have a good idea, and I would join in a boycott of pool and line.....both are targeted for growth (ugh). I practically boycott them anyway .

What would it take for drivers in Philly to "stick together"?

A core group with a clear agenda would have to form. They would have to pound the pavement recruiting drivers, get some positive media attention, and perhaps solicit political support. It would require a huge investment of time and effort. I am skeptical that anyone will step forward.

And no, endeplam, we're not putting any damned signs in our cars, but thanks for the sarcasm :)!

I like the idea of forming something. NY, and other places have done something. How can Philly be so big, but not a major player like NY.

Read the average rate for NY is $25/hr.

Philly was more line $8/hr (don't recall... It wasn't substantial.)

The city driving appears to be the best driving for the money. Or staying out of the .73 zone.
