A 1.1x though technically a surge is not much to get excited about.
Late this afternoon SJC was showing 1.9x, I was 3 miles away, so I headed over there.
By the time I arrived it was down to 1.4x.
Then I get a Lyft base rate request so I took it.
A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush !

Just imagine how much worse it will be for pax when the new surge kicks in. I'm kicking back, waiting for a good long ride - so far got a 2.3 pool that I refused - and I'm not moving unless I get a long surge to SF. Have turned down 60 trips in 20 minutes. If new surge model was in place I wouldn't be online.

Constant pool requests, had to keep
re-setting my DF after getting logged off. Same thing at Bottlerock last night. Acceptance rate is 1%.

Snagged an uberx 2.2X to SF with two stops, but airport traffic was slow as hell.
Took me almost 20 min to get to riders from staging area. All good though, because
the fare was almost $60.00.
