Why is working for UBER is so RUBBISH???

When we could flip burgers, hand out leaflets, wait tables or barwork?

The money is same if not more. Plus get paid holiday, smoke breaks, sick leave???

& we don't risk a fatal crash, ban/points on licence

Don't drive, problem solved, you are an independent contractor, you are not forced to drive for uber.
