yeah not everyone likes it, but I've used it for the past 6 months between both uber and Lyft and have never had a single navigational issue.

I prefer it over Waze and google maps. It's clean, easy to use and loads quickly on my 5s.

Why did Lyft drop support for it?

I wasn't even aware it wasn't supported anymore - I last used it maybe 6 weeks ago.

Since I do Uber more, and they don't link to Apple Maps, I've been using Waze since it can be used accross both platforms causing me less confusion.

But yeah, for all the denigration of Apple Maps I liked it!

I use google maps primarily but having apple maps in lyft was very nice addition for those times when I was wearing my Apple Watch and could get Taptic feedback on when to turn and when google froze or messed up. I dislike waze. Personally dropping Apple maps was a bad move and shows lyft still is caught in a bubble(I.E) their is a disconnect between driver and corporate on what we want/like and what they want .
