There should be multiple class action lawsuits to prevent gig companies from allowing customers to tip bait the drivers and punish gig companies with gigantic fines if they allow it in the future after losing the lawsuits.
Gotta love people that complain that why are people not doing suchandsuch and yet they themself have not done suchandsuch. There should be multiple class action lawsuits to prevent gig companies from allowing customers to tip bait the drivers and punish gig companies with gigantic fines if they allow it in the future after losing the lawsuits.
And I am sure that if you actually read the entire contract that you are referring to, I am sure you will find somewhere buried in the fine print that tips are subject to change up to a certain time point after the delivery and are NOT a guarantee. The legal problem that I believe occurs with tip baiting is that a legally binding contract is formed for a certain amount of $$$ at the time of the accepted request.
