So who's tipping you? Don't be scared to profile. We all do it. There are some surprises here and there, but we all generally know where our tips are coming from.

Most of my tips are coming from women of all ages and races. I don't flirt, it's just the way it works out.

If a guy has that progressive, efficient, hipster vibe there's no tip coming.

Old school or traditional type men tip cash. It's usually a visitor or it will be a guy out in the suburban areas. Not many of these types in SF.

Gay men and women tip. It's appreciated.
