Yesterday I got a pin and once I got there this two ladies started smiling and acting all happy like if they knew me, so a little confuse I said hi to them and they told me that they just got a Psycho trying to pick them up and that they were really happy to get me. So here is what happen, they order an Uber and then a Pickup truck with no Uber stickers shows up, and they found very strange, first someone doing Uber in a pickup truck but mostly the no stickers showing that this person works with Uber, so they ask to the driver, " Do you work with Uber"? and the guy reply to them " OF COURSE CHECK YOUR APP"!! in a very rude manner, and of course I was not there so I am just telling the story as it was told to me, so they cancel the ride and order another. They did report the guy, and they even tip me, so.... hey thanks!! and keep up the good work whoever you are pickup truck guy

Uber is desperate for drivers. Many Uberx on the platform that shouldn't be on the platform.

Like this guy I see all over the place. This truck shouldn't be on uber. Now tell me if this pulled up you wouldn't cancel and call a taxi. Uber is actually scarier than a taxi.

I have seen stranger things than pickup trucks believe me, I have seen really old cars, cars without parts like bumpers, cars with damage, with really crappy pain and once I even saw a 2 doors car getting in the freeway 10 west on Overland ave with the Uber decals. So a pickup truck do not surprises me at all, I am just telling what this ladies told me, but they did found it strange so I guess even passengers think it may not be profitable to do this sort of business on a vehicle like that at least no Uberx that is

I once saw a corolla loading up pax with two spare tire donuts on the drivers side - front and back. He was working the tnc lot at the airport.

But a pickup? No problem. Pax can even ride in the back on nice days. They're great for pool!

Last 4th July, I drove without mufflers. Or exhaust pipes. Like, none whatsoever.

Nope ran just fine in Irvine too

Bimmer "mufflers" are actually resonators to make it growly it seems.

If you cut off the tailpipes and "mufflers" it runs all quiet-like lol....not that I knew this in advance.

I once drove an '89 Pontiac Sunbird with no mufflers for 6 months. Man you could hear me a mile or two coming and going. I lived in a state in which cows outnumber humans, yet I cringed whenever I tapped the gas. I never got a ticket, but man Irvine will sentence you to lethal injection over something like that.

I have a buddy who was pulled over and cited for insufficient tread on his tires in Irvine. This was of course during the drought and summer where the roads are dry for 8 months.
