I'm an idiot who hasn't done my taxes yet and am looking to get it down ASAP. 2016 was my first year driving for Uber and I didnt hit 30k. I'm actually not that familiar with doing taxes at all considering Uber is only my 2nd job ever.

Where is the best place to go to get my taxes done that is familiar with Uber? I'm considering going to Softtron. Or is it easier for me to just do it myself online? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Find yourself a good independent accountant. It may cost a bit more, but places like H&R Block are a joke.... Their goal is to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

I would use an accountant vs filing on your own, especially because you don't have a good handle on it....and you're late.

Know any good independent accoutants? They all look the same to me and would much rather go to one based off of somebody's else recommendation

I use my investment guy (who used to be an accountant)
He normally just does taxes for his clients.

He's also in Hamilton...
Can't help in regards to TO. Maybe someone else can.
