I keep getting email ads from Lyft that say "People are quitting their jobs to earn $35 per hr driving for Lyft" it's a driver recruitment ad. There has to be an end at some point to the idiots that sign up to be full time X / Lyft drivers. I realize how dumbdowned the general population is and how bad they all need cash now, but with these working conditions they shouldn't have anyone working. U/L obviously haven't hit driver retention critical mass yet, will it ever occur? Just in casual conversations with neighbors, waiters etc. they all comment what a rip off U/L is for the drivers.

After LYFT's cut it leaves $37.50 for the driver and they have covered their azz

Sure, on any given 1 hour period you can make $35. You can also make $0 per hour.

I noticed when I worked those decent HGs Lyft kept me real busy. They ended up supplementing just a few dollars.
