Within their circle they have a culture : to hook someone rich and successful. They won't be so desperate to want to hook a driver.

Generally and social norm-wise, older uncle-drivers will fare less successful in hooking up with stewardess in the 20s (money taken out of the equation). This reality hurts. But it doesn't stop you from trying buying TOTO so the same goes here.

To me, air stewardess is no big deal. They are nothing more than a high class waitresses. Just that they could present themselves and speak well.
