When to swipe start and complete delivery

Do not swipe when you get to the restaurant. First what if they can't or won't give you the order for some reason, this has happened to me several times. Second, while UE does pay your wait time at the restaurant, the one time I haven't been paid my full time at a restaurant (or more) is the one time I hit start delivery, and then couldn't get out of my parking space for about three min. UE saw me just sitting there and took some time off.

I usually hit start as I am walking back to my car, just so I can see where I am going.
The problem with this is that often timesI'll be sitting in the restaurant and the app will still be telling me that I've almost arrived..it will not acknowledge that I am there and that I am not getting paid for all the time I'm sitting around waiting for the order to be completed.

they should have a button to acknowledge that you have arrived at the restaurant. I noticed it when I deliver in order that never happens lol so they must have the perimeters to their GPS set to that on purpose..

Thoughts?

I definitely use that.. Not ready button..but meanwhile the GPS will still be telling me I haven't arrived at the restaurant and since I'm a new driver I didn't know if it mattered. I noticed that it didn't seem to be paying me for waiting around and when I asked about it they told me that if I didn't get my order after 15 minutes I could always leave..
I'm very new so I'm just trying to figure out..
Thanks
