I am new in Houston. However being driving with uber from chicago for a while now. What does it entails to drive uber here in Houston and how is the market like.Your thought please.
Thanks.
You'll also have to let Uber know you are going to be driving in Houston.
You can get a 30 day provisional license once you've completed all the steps aside from the FBI fingerprinting background check. It takes about a week to get an appointment for the finger printing (depending on how far you are willing to drive) and 3-5 business days for the results to get to the city.
They have a new local office where you can pick up the trade dress sign. It's listed on one of the recent threads for Houston.
The market is over saturated with drivers. The one thing that keeps us going is the sheer size of Houston, and it is not hard to get longer rides, although you may be waiting a while between rides.
