What's up with ATL Tonight? No Surges

1039 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Bart McCoy
I've seen almost no Surges in ATL from 5-10p this evening. Is that what others are seeing too?

ATL must be flooded with drivers who have been waiting to work the weekend. Ugh.

I saw some surges earlier but a lot less busy than last weekend. Lately, I've been driving less and doing enough to qualify for the guaranteed rate while I write my thesis. At least a third of my "earnings" have been from Uber

Drivers going for guarantee have killed surges in the ATL in my opinion.
Maybe true. I am just trying to make my #s with the least damage so I can hit my personal goals for getting out of ridesharing entirely.
Almost midnight and still no surges in the Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody area. That region was surging all evening last Friday and Saturday.
I got my one ride for tonight to keep my account active for the next six months (Uber black gets more leeway). Cool conversation with guy a little too tipsy to drive himself to his girlfriends house...$35 +$20 tip

Saw more surges tonight but still seemed much lighter than last weekend.
Hope nobody is driving for 78cents a mile. $20 and up gurantees only, doing minimum to qualify (and 1.5x surges and up only)
