What's going on out there?!!!!

Things have been very weird out there for Select in my neighborhood! For starters Uber has not been putting "No UberX available" but instead just "set pickup location". So X riders are not choosing Select when no X is available.
Also since Uber stopped putting the surge on the rider app and just putting the approximated price for the ride, riders have been shying away from Select.
Any other Select drivers having similar experiences?!!
And for all you Select drivers not from my neighborhood, GET OUT!!!!! I don't need y'all invading my hood!!!

Pasadena?

Didnt wanna go, but had a drop in silver lakewhicj was crawling with pigs for some reason....stressed me out skwent to pee and eat at Ralphs on 3rd, get pinged to take a clubbing vacationer to Westin Pasadena.... Land in Pasadena at 4am, of ccourse I hung around for a LAX ride (Premier and Select only profiles, naturally)

Drove a very pleasant mother and daughter to a Virgin American flight, was actually rather shocked that they mentioned they didn't specifically plan on Select just couldn't get any ants on any other option in eitherapp
