Does the pay go down year after year and still have a huge faction of the workforce take it and even rationalize the cuts in pay? Can you think of even one?

I hear it all the time from other spineless drones.. " well its only a such and such percentage decrease" . Gas goes up..."oh it's only impacted my pay a certain percentage" and many other rationalizatons.

No other workforce would stand for this yet rideshare drivers just sit there and take it like the person who is in a relationship with an abusive cheating partner.

And stop with this freedom rationalization crap. There is no freedom. You don't pick your own hours. Cause if you want to make the most money it requires you to work the busiest hours which are many times the most undesirable hours. Most of you guys are hamsters on that wheel driving more and more in order to keep up with the rate cuts.

The only freedom this job provides is to work 80 hrs a week. So take your freedom argument and shove it!

Busy hours? Lol
It's Vegas ... there is always rides, all the time.
I make roughly 1k a week, working 45-55 hours on my own time. Often I'll work 3-4 hours at a time, go do whatever the hell I want, go do it again when I feel like it ... i don't have a set schedule and I'm certainly not wasting life in traffic at 6pm on a Friday ... apparently you're unhappy in life in general ... nothing will change that for you.

By busy I mean Surge pricing. You're exhibit A it's only right that you were the first to respond. Thank you!

You sit and wait on the surges... I'll just keep doing what I do ... and guarantee I'll still make more than you any given day. A monkey can drive. Hell the cats can drive themselves ... personality gets tips, gets good reviews, and a happy life.

Try not being so negative all the time, might do you some good.

I work 3 days a week outside of summer, that's the way it is on the casino industry. Starting next week, we go back to 6-7 days a week until the end of August (WSOP TIME) ... I also work the grave (3am) shift... if you really must know.

I'm retired and only drive enough to make $400/mo net, or about $140-$150/week gross. To make that, I drive a max of 3 days/week and on those days, I'm online from around 7am, to catch the "going-to-work" people, till about 11am, when I take about an hour for lunch. Then noon to about 2-3pm, depending on how busy the strip/airport area is. Then I do a
"destination" towards home. I get such a ride about 20% of the time. I'm pissed as hell with how Uber is ****ing drivers BUT... there is no other "side-hustle" I could do to make that $400/mo net, as I'm partially handicapped and driving for
Uber fits the bill, despite them being a VERY slimy corporation... Oh and as for those "Quests", about 6 months ago, I used to get $40 for 20 rides, which since I usually did nearly that anyway to make my weekly gross, It encouraged me to drive a little more and get the extra money.. Not anymore. The latest quest I got was ... 30 rides for TEN ****ING EXTRA DOLLARS... No ****ing way...

You're not alpha male at all, you've been a follower your whole life, always having someone tell you when and where. Now you're doing something with a little freedom but you don't understand the business aspect of it at all because no one educated you In leadership probably because they knew you wouldn't understand the concept of it. Maybe buy a book and have your wife read it to you, treat it like a business because when you do it full-time it is a business.

But you said you don't take all riders, only those that rate 4.8+
Which statement is true?
It seems cabs may be making a comeback. as Uber prices increase and some unmoral rideshare drivers screen riders that are leaving the strip and cancel on them, and are caught trying to unethically shuffle.

(Look and sound familiar?)
So where do you see rideshare in 5 years?

You know the guy is a completely full of it and clueless. He walks around poker tables and take pictures of peoples chips, then claims they are his. This is probably the most money he's ever made and now he thinks he's a rideshare expert.
