Uber had an EV focus group maybe 6 months ago at the pyramid hub, they invited a bunch of uber drivers that use an electric car to get feedback. They bought us all lunch and gave us $50 gift card for our time. They were talking about launching uber green which would be plugin vehicles but I think they dropped it since there aren't enough ev drivers yet.

The charging stations around town I've seen say something like no commercial vehicles. If charging stations were more prevalent and more vehicles on the road it could happen. Maybe. Otherwise it's charging discrely after taking your stickers off?

And the drivers that are already doing it, you've gotta wonder how range anxiety, number of hours on the road to be profitable, combined with the unknown of where pax are going and how far you'll be from home. Tough to balance all that while doing rideshare I'd imagine.

Uber's weed delivery service?

I'm joking but wouldn't be surprised to see this in a few months.
I thought this was funny. I've read a couple of accounts on these forums of driving around dealers. Uber caught wind and wants their take now that it's legal.

I drove electric vehicle and pax always had the same set of questions about my car. Over and over and over again 20 times a day same questions. Uber made it worse by notifying some pax that they were “electrified” . I also felt that Uber made nothing to help me get the vehicle and I just didn’t understand why they take all the credit for it

A couple of decades ago the original EV vehicle could pull a trailer with a generator on it.
It was the only way you could get out of town with the thing in the days before public chargers.
