What can you do with drivers phone number?

If you have joined UberPeople.net because your Uber account was hacked, you've likely been taken in by a scam. Please read this before starting a thread on this subject.

Your phone number is your Uber login credential. They can use it to steal your earnings.
Did you collect a cancel fee from the scammer??? :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Pax needs to cancel. You only cancel after the timer expires and rider is a no-show. If they contacted via the app, they wouldn't have your phone.

Just a scammer. Don't sweat it. They want you to call them because if they call you through the app, Uber added that little "this is a call from your rider" before connecting any call. Once you call them, that's when the social engineering starts. Plus they have your real number likely and nothing good can come of that. Good on you for not falling for it.
